Falcons 2, Giants 24
Recapping my 4 Downs for the Falcons/Giants game:
- 1st Down: Manning vs Ryan: Manning showed every reason as to say why he's the better QB's of the two. Manning went 23/32 for 277 and 3 TD's. Ryan went 24/41 for 199 0 TD's. Notably Ryan is 0-3 in the playoffs. Injury to Insult. Advantage: Manning
- 2nd Down: Falcons O-line vs Giants D-line: Well considering that the Falcons run game wasn't in the state of New Jersey (Where the Giants Play) and the fact that Ryan was harassed a lot by the Giants D-line. Lets not forget about the two 4th & 1's that were denied by that same line. Finally, the Giants sacked Ryan twice and hit him 7 times. More times than the Falcons wanted. Advantage: G-men!!!!
- 3rd Down: Falcons WR's vs Giants WR's: Well the good news is, the Falcons kept Victor Cruz in check and the Bad news is that Mario Manningham and Hakeem Nicks DESTROYED the Falcons CB's. Falcons had Julio Jones as their leading WR with 7 catches and Roddy White had 5 catches. Now as for TD's: Giants WR's 3, Falcons WR's 0. Advantage: Giants
- 4th Down: Road Team always win in this series: Well that fact did not hold again for the 2nd time in the last 8 meetings. Giants won the last two games in NY. Advantage: Well the Giants did win the game right.
What's Next: A rematch against the Packers at Lambeau on Sunday for the Giants.
